Good Luck to all our wrestlers who will be wrestling at sectionals this Saturday at CD East HS. Six of our wrestlers are ranked in the top four:
Ben Martin (27-2) 1st seed at 220 lb
Evan Bogdan (25-5) 2nd seed at 106 lb
Matt Wolf (23-8) 2nd seed at 126 lb
Jake Lehman (24-4) 2nd seed at 195 lb
Gavin Schiavoni (19-4) 3rd seed at 132 lb
Dan Keller (15-10) 4th seed at 113 lb

Congratulations to the team for placing 2nd Overall in the Lebanon County Tournament. The squad looked sharp with some exciting and impressive performances by everyone on the team. Palmyra finished the day with two 1st Place County Champions: Evan Bogdan (106) and Ben Martin (220). Palmyra also had six 2nd Place finishers: Wolf (126), Schiavoni (132), Runkle (152), Kennedy (182), Lehman (195) and Scipioni (HWT), one 3rd Place winner, Keller (113), two 4th Place finishers: Sutherland (138) and Albrite (145) and two 5th Place finishers: Hall (120) and Kopenhaver (170).

Palmyra Cougars placed 8th at the Governor Mifflin Tournament competing against 19 other schools. Out of our 11 wrestlers 7 moved onto the medal rounds on day two. Congratulations to Ben Martin (220 lb) for pinning his way to a 1st Place finish and the pin award for pinning all his opponents. Evan Bogdan (106 lb) and Jake Lehman (195 lb) sealed 3rd Place finishes while Matt Wolf (132 lb) finished 4th. Both Adam Kennedy (182 lb) and Joe Scipioni (HWT) finished strong by winning their last match of the day for 7th Place Finishes.
